What's a Convivium?

A Convivium, strictly speaking, is a festive, social gathering. For these occasions, though, we add some education and some discussion. The results are a balanced time among peers to be challenged and encouraged.

Why CEO's only?

The role of the hospital CEO is more demanding today than it has ever been. It is a position few fully understand, and fewer appreciate. Most, if not all, of the opportunities afforded a hospital CEO to 'get away' for a conference or meeting also include other hospital personnel; Trustee, CFO, etc. Consequently, a strong consensus exists that there is room for an event created exclusively for the hospital CEO. The intent is to provide an environment to be encouraged and 're-energized' for the task of hospital leadership.

How will the time be spent?

Convivium mornings and evenings are spent in educational sessions and roundtable discussions on topics unique to the CEO. Afternoons are free for activities of choice.
